Summary of Position:

Job Description – BUSSER/DISHWASHER

The Busser/Dishwasher is responsible for setting and clearing tables, stocking all service stations, assisting food servers with table service, operating the dishwasher machine and maintaining the cleanliness of dishware and silverware of the restaurant.

Essential Functions:

• Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting.
• Promptly and consistently reset all service ware as specified
• Maintain stock and cleanliness of station
• Serve guests beverages, replenishing as necessary
• Transport all dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area
• Wash and put dishes away in kitchen
• Other supportive functions as determined by the Supervisor.Qualifications:Education: High School diploma or GED preferred

Certificates or Licenses: Washington State Food Service Worker card Experience: Food and beverage experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware.
Supports servers by setting up and replenishing condiments/server stations
Closes dining room by cleaning tables and chairs, sweeping/vacuuming floors and removing trashfrom the restaurant
Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
Ability to use and carry a tray in order to assist serversPersonal Characteristics:
