Dishwasher Job Description:

We have an opening for a full-time dishwasher position. Our environment is fast-paced and we expect you to be able to work as part of a whole team. Your main duties will include bussing (removing dishes from the tables) and washing them. On occasion, you will be asked to help very simple kitchen assistance, clean cook stations, kitchen appliances, and machines.

Responsibilities for a Dishwasher:

• Ensure the availability of clean dishes by washing plates, dishes, pans, utensils, cups, and pots.
• Maintaining a clean and well-organized working environment
• Bussing tables to collect soiled plates and flatware
• Cleaning kitchen appliances and machines
• Assist other staff members with tasks when the need arises
• Adhere to food safety procedures and regulations
• Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Dishwasher Job Requirements:

• Previous dishwasher experience is preferred, but also we welcome without experiences.
• Must be proficient in handling with different types of dishes
• Must know and follow all food safety procedures
• Must carry at least a high school diploma or an equivalent

Compensation:

• $19/hr during Trial-Training (1-2 weeks, depending on performance)
• $20/hr~ after finishing trial + tips pool (your base pay will raise depending on performance)

Work schedule:

• Lunch Shift: 12:00pm~3:30pm
• Dinner Shift: 5:30pm~Close (around 10pm)

About Curry Hyuga

Our owner-manager began his culinary career with his business partner in Curry HYUGA Burlingame. His passion for cooking led him to partner with his Chef partner from Japan who has succesfully introduced various Japanese food to Shanghai and Tokyo. He believes good food should be accessible, which has led him to bring Japan's favorite comfort food \Japanese Curry\ created with traditional haute kaiseki style techniques to the wonderfully diverse Bay Area community with the opening of Curry Hyuga.
