DIRECTOR – ADMINISTRATOR - BEHAVIORAL HEALTH

Seeking a dynamic Administrator/Director to manage a the startup and daily operations of a new 24-bed Acute Care Adult Inpatient Psychiatric Unit in the Yuma Regional Medical Center in Yuma, AZ. There are plans in place for expansion in the future to include geriatric psychiatry beds and a detox unit.

Yuma is in the southwestern part of the state close to CA. It is 2 and a half hours from San Diego, CA; 2 hours and 47 minutes from Phoenix, AZ; and 3 hours from Tucson, AZ.

This position is responsible for the maintenance of the contractual relationship and the overall administration of patient care for the Psychiatric unit.

Responsibilities include:

• The development and maintenance of a high-quality treatment program
• The development and implementation of a comprehensive community relations program
• Strategic planning, program administration, and development

Requirements:

• Must have 3+ years experience managing an acute care inpatient psychiatric program in a hospital setting.
• Requires a Master's Degree in a related field or a MSN.
• Must have acute care inpatient behavioral health experience.
