Herzog Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Assistant for the MRL project that runs between Billings, MT and Sandpoint, ID, with offices located in Missoula, Montana and Livingston, MT.
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Manage receiving, warehousing, and distribution utilizing computer software
- Communicate with Project Engineer to reorder low stock items
- Coordinate with project QC personnel for material receipt, verification and compliance
- Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal warehouse operational policies and procedures
- Pull materials from warehouse inventory based on requisitions, prepare shipping ticket and coordinate deliveries to project sites.
- Comply with company safety policy and conduct daily safety meeting with all employees
- Supervise warehouse employees and oversee daily operations
- Communicate with drivers to ensure efficient delivery
- Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
- Oversee all warehouse employees, including creating schedules, providing coaching and mentoring, training, and recruiting.
- Regular and consistent engagement, participation and promotion of Herzog’s Culture and its essential behaviors are a requirement for this position
- Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality are a requirement for this position.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Minimum 1 year experience working in a warehouse environment.
- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience overseeing 2 or more individuals
- Leadership Skills and ability to manage staff
- Possess basic skills in MS Office Suite applications.
- Possess forklift certification or be able to quickly obtain certification.
- Must have ability to have a flexible work schedule. There are intermittent demands for supporting after-hours and weekend work.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record.
- CDL and Hoisting license are a plus.
- Well-organized, analytical, and detail oriented with the ability to communicate this verbally and in writing.
- Self-starter that can prioritize and work independently.
- The ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Must be able to sit, stand and walk for long periods of time and must be able to push/pull, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach and crawl frequently.
Pre-Employment Requirements:
- Subject to pre-employment background check and motor vehicle report review.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and endorsements as required per position.
- Pass pre-employment DOT physical, medical evaluation, and drug screen due to the safety sensitive nature of this position.
- This position requires you to pass and maintain a DOT medical evaluation to drive a Herzog commercial vehicle.
- Successfully complete and maintain any required safety certification and testing on an annual basis.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described below must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential job functions of this role. This position will be physically demanding at times. This is a non-exhaustive overview of the physical requirements of this job.
- Able to walk on uneven surfaces.
- Regularly lift weight up to 50 pounds to waist height.
- Regularly lift up to 50 pounds to waist height and carry for a distance up to 10 feet.
- Work in a confined access/space environment with a width of 24 inches.
- Must be able to adapt to various temperature extremes including but not limited to heat, cold, moisture and wind.
- Able to tolerate repetitive movements: bending and overhead reaching.
- Regularly ascend/descend a platform with a height of up to 12 inches from the floor.
- Regularly ascend/descend a ladder while carrying 35 pounds of equipment.
- Regularly climb stairs while carrying 50 pounds of equipment.
- Frequently bend, crouch, stand and sit for extended time.
- Able to work in a safety sensitive work environment.
