- Receive incoming calls in professional, empathetic and courteous manner
- Create Purchase Orders, receive in parts for techs returning to jobs, manage day-to-day dispatch board
- Support the service cycle for a team of technicians
- Handle transactions and banking deposits
- Perform some marketing and sales functions to sell additional work and earn business
- Complete work orders, return customer calls, and respond to customer questions or concerns
- Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.This position requires light physical effort. Continuous mental and visual attention required. The job may be performed while sitting or standing. Eyesight correctable to 20/20 required. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. unattended.
Position Summary Primary responsibility is to assist customers with appliance repairs by collecting detailed and accurate information from the customers, coordinating customer requests with technician availability and expertise, and scheduling customer appointments in a timely and professional manner to best serve the customers’ needs and represent the company; ordering and receiving parts requested by technicians on his/her team as needed, when needed, in a timely manner and updating technicians and customers on the part order status and schedule changes until the repairs are completed; receiving and posting payments for outstanding invoices.
