Join our team at Pine Lake Marina where we are all about supplying fun to our customers. We are searching for self-motivated, quick learning crew members to assist with boat rentals working in a fun environment.

Crew Member – Dock Lead

Our Dock Lead position supervises Dock Crew and delivers boat safety and operator orientations to rental parties. Responsible to manage and perform dock crew duties to maintain our fleet of rental boats and assist with departures and returns. Parking lot management tasks are also performed by this position.

Essential Job Functions

• Instruct boat renters on boating safety and watercraft operation
• Facilitate the rental boat return process, inspect watercraft fuel and clean rental boats
• Support our high standard of customer service when interacting with customers
• Perform on deck duties for rental boat departures and returns
• Manage dock crew to ensure proper detailing standards are met
• Train and mentor dock crew on detailing standards
• Manage parking lot
• Other general labor duties as assigned

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Boat experience preferred; interest in outdoors and/or boating
• Friendly and professional disposition
• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience managing others preferred
• Strong sense of teamwork
• Adaptable and flexible (work schedule varies)
• Weekends and holiday required

Physical Abilities

• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Able to stand for extended period
• Able to work in non-air conditioned outdoor environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• La Porte, IN 46350: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
