The Materials Management Department is seeking a Courier to join their team at the Everett Clinic.

Under general supervision, maintains delivery service between the main campus of The Everett Clinic and its satellite offices, Providence Regional Medical Center Everett and other destinations for the transportation of lab samples, interoffice mail, parcels, and other materials.

The Courier is responsible for and not limited to:

• Provides regular delivery and pick-up service as directed to various locations through Snohomish and King County.

• Distribute interoffice mail, lab specimens, and other necessary items to appropriate departments.

• Provides unscheduled delivery and pick-up services when requested.

• Must not transport unauthorized passengers while making deliveries.

• Maintains The Everett Clinic’s courier vehicle in good repair/condition and reports any maintenance problem to the Lead or Manager.

• Always drives in a safe, reasonable manner and observes all traffic laws and regulations.

• Promptly reports all traffic accidents in which the employee is involved while on duty.

• Ensures confidentiality of confidential information and PHI being transported; ensures safekeeping of all material being transported.

• Provide delivery and pick-up service as a backup courier or stat courier as required.

Required Experience and Credentials:

• Valid Washington State Driver’s License, clean driving record

Preferred Experience and Credentials:

• High School Diploma or GED
