Start Moving-on Counseling, Trauma Center, and TelePractice Prescott Valley, AZ 86314
Start Moving-on Counseling, Trauma center, and TelePractice is looking for a counselor, EMDR trained and experience working with children a plus.
This is a paid contracted position to treat clients at Start Moving-on Counseling, Trauma Center, TelePractice. Counselor must have a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling, Social Working, or Marriage, and Family. The counselor must have obtained an associate or in the process of getting/or has obtained an independent license from the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners.
Counselor should be familiar with local resources and the referral process. Counselor must work collaboratively with local resources, doctors, psychiatrists, hospitals (both YRMC and the Northern Arizona VA), and other mental health professionals.
Counselor must be able to demonstrate the ability to make ethically sound decisions. Counselor must understand cultural diversity and identify the needs of a diverse customer base.
Contracted counselor will treat individuals, couples, group, and family counseling. The counselor will be responsible for all treatment areas, beginning with the intake process, treatment planning, treatment, discharge, and referral and follow-up.
Contracted counselor will work Monday through Thursday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, and will see a minimum of 25 clients per week.

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
