The Oregon Clinic is seeking a full time Compliance Officer to join our busy organization in NE Portland near the Lloyd Center. The Compliance Officer is responsible for the management of The Oregon Clinic’s compliance program efforts and regularly provides reports to the Board and leads the Compliance Committee.
The Compliance Officer demonstrates and champions The Oregon Clinic's mission by ensuring efficient and effective centralized services that focus on support of our physicians and clinics to meet organizational goals. This role formulates, maintains and socializes compliance policies and procedures; responds to regulatory inquiries; maintains database/logs of inquiries/track research and disposition of compliance issues raised by management, employees, patients, business partners and external auditors; develops and prepares reports of compliance and program activities; and prepares reports to governmental agencies in accordance with regulatory requirements. This position is responsible for department operations, fiscal management, and provides oversight to company-wide policies and procedures. The Compliance Officer reports to the Board of Directors with day-to-day support and dotted line reporting to the CEO, they also serve as the Privacy Officer and is responsible for compliance with HIPAA Privacy regulations. Pay range: $134,193.60 - $184,516 annually depending on experience.

Requirements:
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, law or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading the compliance program in a healthcare organization.
- CHC or similar certification strongly preferred upon hire and required within 1 year.
- Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations.
- Knowledge of current state, federal and local laws governing the delivery of care.
- Skill in prioritization and cognitive reasoning.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle highly sensitive information with discretion.
- Ability to communicate clearly to patients, staff and physicians.
