Truck Driving Instructor CDL Class A Driving Instructor.
Are you interested in a 3-Day weekends every week with a 4/10 hour weekly work schedule? Northern Industrial Training is seeking an experienced Class A CDL Driver for an Instructor Position at our Palmer, Alaska training facility. Additional employment locations available are Fairbanks AK and Juneau, AK. Teaching or Instructional Experience Preferred, but not required.
Are you an experienced, safe, CDL Class A driver who wants to be home most nights and enjoys working with a diverse group of people? Possible remote travel work available.
- The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of CDL Class A driving experience.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Valid & Clean driving record and current DOT Medical Card
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug screening
Additional required skills:
- Professional attitude, demeanor, and presentation.
- Superior communication skills, written and verbal
- Ability to work within a team and independently
- Must comply with all safety rules and regulations and make safety a priority
- Maintain clean work areas and be accountable for company tools used in performing duties.
- Possess patience and awareness of cultural diversity
- Willingness to work with students in a group setting and independently with classroom and practical hands-on skills training
- Must be willing to do the required paperwork, attendance, progress reports, and any necessary documentation as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
