Bilingual Spanish Speaking Substance Abuse Counselor Job at Victory Recovery Partners
Victory Recovery Partners is an Outpatient Addiction Recovery Center looking for Spanish speaking full time counselors to work in our Massapequa Park, NY location. The positions include performing comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, case management, group and individual counseling, crisis management, and development of treatment and discharge plans.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments.
- Lead or Co-lead group therapy sessions.
- Provide updates and progress reports.
- Set up aftercare plans.
- Meet with family members to provide guidance and support.
Experience, Education and Required Skills/Abilities:
- CASAC or CASAC-T or LMSW or LMHC certifications/licensure.
- Minimum of High School Diploma with CASAC-T or CASAC certification.
- Spanish speaking required.
- Strong computer skills, including working knowledge of electronic medical record systems as well as how to navigate Zoom or Google Meet.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and stressful environment.
