  • Serves as SME on the Soarian registration system.
  • Trains end users of the patient management system on all registration functions, query functions and upgrades to the system.
  • Supports all aspects of customer service, scheduling, registration, and point of service functions.
  • Performs process, operational and system monitoring and audits to ensure that efficient, cost effective work processes are in place.
  • Essential Duties include Develops and conducts end user orientation and training on the registration system.
  • This includes system training relating to upgrades, revisions, specialized functions and in services to address compliance issues.
  • Prepares and maintains resource materials to support training exercises and classes.
  • Performs daily, weekly and routine audits of registration information to identify errors and areas where education system enhancements are needed.
  • Performs corrections to system information as appropriate.
  • Completes QA analysis of all critical registration elements using QA audit tools to correctly identify users.
  • Monitors QA phone mailbox, records all calls, makes data input corrections as necessary and responds to all callers within 24 hours.
  • Performs routine system testing as requested by the Administrator.
  • Monitors manual and automated systems to ensure registration data entered passes to appropriate systems.
  • Maintains QA electronic files, adding and deleting users, distribution lists and folders as needed.
  • Liaison with IT and S for all system related issues.
  • Specifies enhancements and maintains involvement through the coding, testing and implementation stages.
  • Participates in local and systemwide initiatives to promote data quality and quality improvement.
  • Computes and reports statistical registration data in a variety of formats, without computational errors, spotting trends and or patterns.
  • Provides frontline registration support as needed.
  • Maintains in depth knowledge of PAS systems, department policies, procedures and workflows.
  • Fll time 40 hours per week.
  • Monday-Friday
Qualifications

  • High School Equivalent / GED
  • 5 plus years of experience
  • CHAA Certified Healthcare Access Associate
  • Exp in Patient Access and quality monitoring required.
  • Associate or Bachelors degree, patient registration, billing systems, training exp preferred.
