ABOUT WHEATON BIBLE CHURCH:
We have been called by God to build His kingdom in the western suburbs of Chicago through Wheaton Bible Church (WBC) and Iglesia del Pueblo (IDP), our Spanish speaking congregation. We’ve been serving the northwest suburbs of Chicago for more than 90 years, and we believe we’re just getting started.
We’re a community of imperfect people who have found forgiveness and reconciliation with God through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. We prayerfully seek to connect people to the authentic hope, joy, and purpose found in Jesus.
We are a church of disciples who are making disciples. Together, we are also learning about Jesus and becoming more like Him, and we can’t help but overflow with the love of God into the world.
Wheaton Bible Church has a long history of investing in global missions and local outreach. Our commitment to reach the world with the love of Jesus Christ has continued through more than nine decades. Today, more than 30% of our church budget is directed to global and community outreach.
We support approximately 90 missionaries and partners in more than 52 countries. In challenging contexts where we cannot send our own due to lack of access or security concerns, we partner with Strategic Indigenous Leaders who know their culture and are proven leaders.
Locally, our Puente del Pueblo outreach is the largest social service provider in West Chicago—offering case management services for families, adult literacy programming, and after-school and summer programming for children and youth. Our church also partners in providing Safe Families, Refugee Resettlement, and other supportive services to the vulnerable in our communities.
On Sundays we offer three worship styles: A traditional organ and choir led worship experience, a band led contemporary experience, and a contemporary Spanish service.
